Whether you’re showcasing your rig or your culinary prowess, we invite teams to fire up their grills, pots, and burners for this year’s cooking competition. Registration is 100% FREE, so bring your best dish, feed the crowd, and aim for the trophy!

📋 Cook-Off Rules & Requirements

To ensure a smooth, fun, and fair Bayou Cook-Off experience for everyone, all contestants and teams must adhere to the following rules:

1. Registration & Entry

Entry Fee: Registration is completely FREE for all cooking teams. 

2. Food Preparation & Quantities

Each team must prepare enough of their signature dish to serve between 10 to 50 people. All food must be cooked safely and maintained at proper serving temperatures throughout the Louisiana Truck Show.

3. Supplies & Materials

Each team is required to supply their own serving paper products, including: 

Styrofoam bowls and/or plates (enough for 50–100 people).

Eating utensils (forks, spoons, napkins) for 50–100 people.

4. Serving & Team Responsibilities

Team Serving: Your team is responsible for serving the food directly to judges and attendees from your designated space. Keep your station clean, safe, and inviting for show participants!

5. Judging & Voting

Judged Categories (1st & 3rd Place): Official judges will visit stations at designated times to score based on taste, quality, and presentation. People’s Choice Categories (2nd & 4th Place): Show attendees will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite dishes throughout the serving period.
